Pissing into a toilet under the bust of Mother Mary?

I may not be Catholic, but I think I'd feel kind of guilty about doing that.

But if that's the kind of thing you're into, you're in luck. Chongqing, a city of over 30 million in the western half of China, has just opened up a glorified public bathroom, featuring some 1,000 toilets in a 4-story building.

The building itself hardly looks like your average free-for-all waste-disposal centre: a colourful Spinx greets you as you enter what looks more like a theme park than the place where you're meant to unload your bowels.

One question comes to mind: Why?

To make it into the Guiness World Records, of course. Why else?!
