Travellerspoint in the news...

Australia's MX newspaper runs a story about Travellerspoint!

Yesterday in Melbourne, the MX featured a story about how modern travellers are using the net to share their stories and photos through things like blogs. We were pleased to see that Travellerspoint earned quite the mention, with a particular focus on our mapping service:)

To read what the MX had to say about us, you can read the scanned in version here.

Thanks to those members that met up with the reporter last Wednesday!

If you ever notice a mention of Travellerspoint in your local paper, please let us know... It's always cool to know we're in the news!

I should add that unfortunately, there's no free internet link where you can read the story...:(

The Sydney free paper also ran a similar story about you yesterday (06.02.2007). I was given it when I caught the train to the Blue Mountains from Central. Is there a Sydney MX? That would make sense I guess. The story was completely different to the Melbourne story you have scanned in though.

Probably the Sydney MX; you didn't happen to keep a copy of it did you??? Would be great to see what it had to say :)

Sorry mate I didn't keep it. I guess they could provide a back issue, or maybe someone else out there has it?

Yeah, that would have been the Sydney MX. You can actually find both articles at http://www.newstext.com.au/ if you search for travellerspoint under the Sydney MX and the Melbourne MX. But you have to pay a bit to actually get the service...:(

Looks like the start of the two articles are identical though...
