Okay, this is just plain nuts.... Gadling has a post up on the fact that BA has decided to cut/airbrush out parts of the new James Bond flick, Casino Royale, that show Richard Branson and a logo of his airline Virgin.

Someone at BA should take a long hard look at the negative publicity they are going to generate on such a tiny detail, undoubtedly lost on 99.9% of their travellers anyway! Okay, so you obviously don't like the competition you are getting from Virgin. Suck it up and drop the movie from your entertainment altogether if you have a problem with it....

And to Sir Richard, if you are reading this, can I now also get a free flight in return for the promo? Come on, 007 got one!!

Yesterday was a big day for Eric. Not only did we let him out of the Travellerspoint dungeon for a whole day , he also took the opportunity of being out to get married!

Congratulations Eric and of course Rebecca (no, we don't know how he managed to find a good looking girl like that crazy enough to marry him either LOL)

Bao Xishun is the world's tallest man, measuring up to a mighty 2.36 metres (or 7 feet 8.95 inches if that's the way you prefer your measurements). In his native Mongolia, he's a herdsman, but since January 2005, when Guiness World Records announced that he's a whopping 2mm taller than the previous world record holder, he's been a busy man: last December, he saved the lives of two dolphins by pulling plastic from their gut; and now, he's married!

Now I may not be 2.36 metres tall, I may not be a herdsman and I may never have stuck my hand down a dolphins' throat, but I'm pleased to announce that I will be getting married.

So as you can imagine, I won't be around to post in this blog for the next few weeks. That said, I'm sure Sam can pull out the occasional humorous YouTube video to entertain you.
