Aside from our ongoing commitment to profiling travellers and industry professionals, we're now showcasing spectacular destinations through a regular Destination of the Week feature. This week we take a look at New Orleans; a riot of culture, food, and music.

America's most interesting city, New Orleans has a unique multicultural heritage. Spanish and French settlement heavily influenced the city's impressive architecture but further cross-cultural development has resulted in its world-famous cuisine, rich music traditions, and a wealth of historically important sites.
One of the most visited cities in the USA, travellers come to experience the Big Easy; taking in Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, and Preservation Hall. Other notable sites include City Park, the National World War II Museum, and Saint Louis Cemeteries.
Known also for their big celebrations, the city hosts major events Mardi Gras and the Jazz & Heritage Festival—but this is just the beginning! There is so much to discover about New Orleans.

Aside from our ongoing commitment to profiling travellers and industry professionals, we're now showcasing spectacular destinations through a regular Destination of the Week feature. This week we focus on the Philippines, a unique paradise for pleasure and adventure travellers.

An archipelago comprising 7,107 islands with a unique blend of Spanish and American influence, the Philippines is an Asian country unlike any other.
Containing some of the world's finest beaches, exceptional biodiversity, a vibrant cultural identity, and adrenaline-pumping action, this island paradise deserves a spot on every traveller's itinerary.
More than pure white sand and palm trees, however, visitors also enjoy the Philippines' five UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the historic town of Vigan, Baroque Churches, Tubbataha Reef, the Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras, and the impressive Puerto Princesa Subterranean River.
Home to modern spectacles Manila Ocean Park and Imelda Marcos' Cultural Center of the Philippines, this exciting country is always on the move. If you haven't been yet, get in a jeepney and discover the Philippines.
